Richard Charles Kuriger IV

Richard Charles "Chad" Kuriger IV is the Vice Chairman and a co-founder of Raedel Financial. As the third generation of insurance professionals in his family, his entire career has been involved in the insurance industry. He has served in a number of different capacities from agent to broker to executive management to consultant. He is the Past President of the Society of Financial Services Professionals-Houston Chapter.

Mr. Kuriger began his career as an agent with Connecticut Mutual in 1991. Shortly thereafter he founded The Institutional Marketing Concepts Company as a platform for the then-emerging bank distribution of life products. After designing turn-key marketing programs and customizing products for this niche distribution channel he became the youngest Division Director and direct report to the President of American General Life Insurance Company.

During his service with American General he significantly improved the metrics associated with marketing, operations, new business and distribution while also gaining significant exposure and insight into the regulatory community and rating agencies' methodologies.

In 2000, Mr. Kuriger began a consulting practice as a co-founder and Managing Principal of American Global Insurance Group, Inc. and AGI Acquisitions, L.L.C. a northeast-based merchant-banking and consulting firm with offices located in Houston, Manhattan, and Washington D.C. American Global focused on distressed life insurance companies and operationally inefficient holding companies.

Mr. Kuriger received his bachelor's degree from The University of Houston, Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Houston Bauer College of Business, his Masters of Science in Financial Services from The Middlesex College Solomon Huebner School of Financial Sciences and his Masters of Science in Management from The Middlesex College Richard D. Irwin School of Management.

He is a member of the UH Bauer College of Business Foundation Board and Dean's Advisory Council as well as the UH Alumni Association's sub-committees for Finance and Investments. He has served The Kinkaid School, Houston, Texas in various alumni capacities from capital campaigns to annual giving. Chad and Amy reside in Houston, Texas with their three children, Quinn, Alexander and Catherine..
